since the lake has so much water it is used for hydroelectric power. Lake Ontario is also used for fisheries.The lake is also used for travel, certain ships go through the Lake Ontario to reach certain places or transport goods. All of the great lakes are connect by dams and other forms, making it easier for trade and business. Humans also created recreational parks, for tourists to be able to view the lakes.
